New Building Codes effective Feb. 1

The 2018 Building Codes all go into effect today—unless you live in the City of Seattle where the codes are delayed until March 15, 2021.

This includes the 2018 editions of the International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), International Fire Code (IFC), International Mechanical Code (IMC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) with state amendments as well as the 2018 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC).
