Notice to all BIAW Fall Board Meeting Attendees

BIAW’s fall board meeting is scheduled for November 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington, Renton, King County.

As you may know, under the order from Local Health Officer Dr. Jeff Duchin, Public Health – Seattle & King County now in effect in King County, those attending the event are required to:

  • Show proof of vaccination OR
  • Show the results of a negative coronavirus test taken within the past 72 hours

  • All attendees must wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking

To comply with this order, BIAW will require all attendees to check-in at our designated registration table. Once checked in, you will receive your name badge and lanyard. PLEASE WEAR YOUR LANYARD AT ALL TIMES—this is your access pass to all BIAW meetings and events.

On-site Testing Available at No Cost

As a convenience to our attendees, BIAW will have a limited number of COVID rapid-result tests available on site for any person wishing to attend the meeting/event. We will offer these tests at no cost. These tests produce results in as little as 15-20 minutes. However, we highly encourage attendees to get a COVID test before the meeting and bring proof of a negative test result within 72 hours to help the check-in process run more efficiently.

Thank You for Your Patience

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this difficult situation.
We are excited to see everyone, conduct important association business and celebrate the installation of the BIAW 2022 Senior Officers!
