Based on the Health and Safety Institute guidelines for adults, children and infants, this four-hour long First Aid/CPR/AED course helps participants gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in First Aid, conventional Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to meet or exceed occupational First Aid certification. Skills practiced include recovery position, conventional CPR/AED, controlling severe life-threatening external bleeding and other medical emergencies that may occur in the workplace or home to prevent needless disabling injuries, illnesses and death. Participants receive digital certificates upon successful completion. Certification is valid for two years. CEUs may be offered for specific programs/industries.
