About the Council
The BIAW Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council is dedicated to:
- Growing membership of women Builder and Associate Members within BIAW and NAHB
- Providing resources and education to help women expand their businesses and enter the construction workforce
- Offering mentorship and networking opportunities with peers across the industry
- Encouraging leadership with support for women to serve in BIAW and NAHB elected positions
- Celebrating the achievements of women in the building industry

Join the State PWB Council
To join a Professional Women in Building council, start locally. You can learn about local PWB councils below.
If your local home building association doesn't have a PWB council, you can join the BIAW State PWB Council as an at-large member - or start a council at your location association.
The State PWB Council meets in-person three times a year at BIAW Board Meetings and all members are welcome to participate!
