Meet Lawrence

Lawrence is an alias for a student who participated in this past cohort. As a justice-impacted individual, he was determined to find new opportunities to support himself and his family. He was the only student who showed up every day to class during his cohort and was gifted a complete tool set and belt at graduation as recognition of his outstanding participation and dedication. He had several program partners step forward to support his reentry into the workforce and is now working as a Carpentry professional for a local member in Pierce County. Some of the projects he made himself went on to be raffled at a Habitat auction to support their efforts.
