Art Castle, Executive Vice President, Building Industry Association of Washington

Castle has been involved in the home building industry for more than 26 years and currently serves as BIAW's Executive Vice President, overseeing the Association's membership and fiscal strength through sound business management, strategic planning and the implentation of programs and services to meet established goals. Castle is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Executive Officers Council.

Prior to his postion at BIAW, Castle served as the Home Builders Association of Kitsap County Executive Officer for 17 years as well as the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County Executive Officer for six.

Amanda Fields, Education Program Manager, Building Industry Association of Washington

Fields has been with BIAW for over 17 years, currently serving as its Education Program Manager. Under Fields' direction, the award-winning program supports the needs and requests of BIAW members by assisting local homebuilders associations in developing, planning, and implementing up-to-date industry-related education opportunities, including NAHB-designation class subjects, Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) certification, real estate continuing education credit, and Washington state's building code and update classes, among others.

Karen Hall, Special Projects Coordinator, Building Industry Association of Washington

Hall currently serves as coordinator of the Building Industry Insurance program, which provides BIAW members the opportunity to purchase insurance products at competitive rates, among other duties. In addition, Hall travels to local homebuilders associations throughout the state, extolling the many benefits of BIAW membership.

rohila

Jan Rohila, Administrative Services Director, Building Industry Association of Washington

Rohila has been with BIAW for over 15 years, overseeing BIAW's Membership and Education programs. The programs have grown in size and scope, with the Education program adding a real estate school, CESCL cerfitication classes and cyclical building codes update classes. BIAW's membership is the second largest NAHB-affiliated homebuilders association in the nation with over 8,000 members and a retention rate of 75%.
